Position Purpose:
● Develop, implement, monitor, review the comprehensive (EHS) environment, health safety management, fire protection, security systems.
● Implement initiatives to improve EHS culture performance in the workplace, while ensuring compliance with both company legal requirements.
● In collaboration with Site Management implement safe environmentally responsible work practices, policies, procedures, ensuring employees are trained adhere to the standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Compliance
a.Ensures compliance will all laws regulations as well as Food Union policies procedures.
b.Keeps updated on changes in legislation ensures adjustments are made to ensure compliance.
c.Responsible fthe safety health of employees, external contractors, visitors.
d.Guides site management in implementing monitoring safe working policies, practices behaviours fthe site
e.Ensure the site operates within environmental management standards.
2.Relationships
a.Proactively develops maintains good external working relationships with Local Government, Regulatory authorities, Auditors, Contractors, Suppliers, etc.
b.Works collaboratively with industry team, JV2 leadership JV1 site line leadership, to ensure a positive culture focused on EHS compliance zero harm.
3.Strategic Leadership
a.Guide the site leadership in the implementation of EHS, security management strategies.
b.Integrate these EHS strategies, policies practices into the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) system the IMS (Integrated Management System) in SharePoint
c.Play an active role in the site management team. Supporting the team strategy “Together to World Class”
4.Day to day operations
a.Identify assess hazard sources take effective control precautions. Maintain the central Hazard Environmental Aspects registers in SharePoint. Utilise the registers by integrating their use into daily practices

2.A strong sense of urgency fimprovements
3.Systems thinking. Able to develop, integrate simplify systems into common, central shared systems.
4.Strong focus on safety culture in practice not just in documentation. Able to implement regulations in a simple practical manner
5.Bachelor''''s degree above preferably majoring in EHS.
6.Five years more of experience in safety management in a manufacturing environment.
7.Good planning, organizational skills
8.Be familiar with the establishment maintenance of EHS systems.
9.Good EHS expertise
10.Excellent proven written oral skills (Some English is desirable)
11.Proficient computer skills including Microsoft office applications.
